I have now officially entered the inner circle of 17-year-olds! Happy birthday to me!

I proudly present my little sister, with whom I spent the first half of my jour de naissance browsing the vintage shops of Berlin and catching up on my daily dose of caffeine.
The night was passed dancing at a club with friends and consuming borderline crazy amounts of vodka-coke, tequila and other dubious beverages. But after all, that's what birthdays are for.

I got these at H&M yesterday, let's think of it as my great action de résistance against the dirty dirty weather. Since you can see my eyes through the lenses it's kinda obv that they're not really doing their job, sun protection-wise ... but like some great fashion-savvy and very famous person I don't remember the name of (or was that me?) once said, Fashion Has Never To Be Efficient! Cheerio my lovelies!

Michael Jackson and the Berlin Fashion Week

Attention, attention, I am BACK!
With finally another outfit post after, like, ages. If there were a "Laziest Fashion Blogger of the Universe" award, I'd be a worthy nominee, no? But that's going to change, because after all it's almost summer holidays here, which equals lots of free time, which equals lots of free time for shoping and taking photos! Hooray!
I originally planned to make this a special "Hommage to Michael Jackson" outfit, but I realized I don't actually own anything remotely Michael Jackson-ish. I'm kind of still recovering form his sudden death. He was a great musician and, I believe, a good man despite everything that has been said about him. Yeah, R.I.P. Jacko.

Anyway. Tomorrow I will be going to Berlin to attend the Kadre FashionWeekend, an exhibit of fashion created by up-and-coming young Berlin designers, and afterwards probably visit some vintage shops. Berlin has some great stores for vintage and secondhand clothing, but because there's so many sometimes it's hard to know which ones are good and which are just tourist traps. Alexa Chung looking good for a change

Alexa Chung is one certain celebrity that I don't think much of, stylewise.
It's not that I think she dresses badly, au contraire! If style were logic at all, I should be totally in love with her outfits - floral dresses, stripy tops, vintage, the 'effortless' look, the things that I like are all there! Still I used to think that her style was Kate Moss tuned down for the masses, and Kate Moss's style only looks good on, well, Kate Moss and really shouldn't be tuned down in any way. So Alexa wasn't really all the rage at my house.

However, when I saw this photo of her I was like Fuck, doesn't she look just adorable??
Her outfit is the ultimate incorporation of Parisian chic! These shoes! That bag!! I'll be sure to regret having said this later, but - Alexa, I love your look!
